EBI – Empty Bottle Inspection

Description

Bottle inspector is an online inspection system based on machine vision, equipped with a suitable light source, using high-speed CCD camera to shoot an image of bottle neck, bottom and sidewall and send the images to high-speed image processing system, the image processing system intelligently judge the status of tested bottle and send the result to central CPU.

FBI – Filled Bottle Inspection

Description

Filled Bottle Inspection system is to inspect and detect the foreign particles present in the product filled bottles suitable for the following applications :

  • Detection of heavy foreign particles (i.e. glass, metal, …)
  • Detection of light foreign plastic particles (i.e. Closure material, plastic, waste particles…)
  • Fillcheck (filling high, also at normally covered filling high by closure)

Detection rates of particles with different sizes (depends on bottle size)
99,8 % detection rate on particles with size of 1,0 mm x 2,0 mm x 1,0 mm (length, width, high)
99,6 % detection rate on particles with size of 1,0 mm x 1,0 mm x 1,0 mm (length, width, high)
99,0 % detection rate on particles with size of 1,0 mm x 1,0 mm x 0,5 mm (length, width, high)

Bottles with detected foreign particles can be pushed out i.e. by a linear pushing system.
System includes cameras, LED lighting modules, PLC and embedded PC for tracking and evaluation, Camsetter software for visualization and parameterization, sort control, and reporting system.

Fill Level and Cap Inspection

Vision system, placed over the conveyor as a bridge to inspect LEVEL of product on oriented bottles, to be set after the filling capping machine.
Equipped with B/W CCD 1.3 megapixel cameras: camera with a width for inspection of the level
Stainless steel enclosures IP65. PC System, Windows 7, 17’’ TFT monitor, keyboard with trackball. Software configuration required. Intuitive. Memorization of products, formats, etc. Friendly use solid. Powerful.

Rejection and external inspection signals procedure. Could be remote controlled via LAN or Internet-VPN.

Precision conditioned by bottle’s rotation degree on its Z shaft on capture’s point.

Note that this system is expandable for further inspections.
Encoder with 10mm shaft is included, as well as a protection structure and coupling spring.

Inspection with X-Ray system is also available.

Rejection System

Description

Soft deviation of containers by means of 10 pneumatic fingers. Solid and silent system. No impacts, no falls. Stainless steel enclosure. It is placed after the inspector which gives the signal of “wrong container”. As the container to be rejected goes by, the fingers (pneumatic cylinders) work in synchrony with the conveyor making a virtual curve to guide and deviate containers without impacts.

System life is millions of cycles long, as cylinders are protected by shock absorbers, making it a silent system with minimal maintaining needs.

Mechanical system is protected in a stainless steel box.

System is able up to productions of 20,000 BPH, (if requirements are geometrically compatible with the design of the curve and fingers). Minimal pitch between bottles: 60 mm.

The system deviates to the next lane bottles up to 130 mm in diameter.

For bottles of square section the distance between consecutive walls for 15,000 bph speed should be at least 60 mm.

The rejection system must be installed on a flat, straight, leveled and even conveyor stretch. Slat is free of slippage but it should not be impeding soft deviation along the virtual segment curve affecting the spacing between consecutive containers.
Price includes a hard copy of the manual in English. The customer will be able to install and setup the system by his own means, though it is strongly recommended that for the first machine this is performed by the supplier.
